The pilgrimage church of Madonna del Sasso, on a hillside overlooking the town of Locarno, can be reached in about five minutes by cable railway, which leaves from the Via Ramogna near the railroad station.

in winter (01.11 - 23.03.): every 30 minutes from 07.15 til 19.45
