Arriving from the north, follow the motorway A2 to Bellinzona (exit Bellinzona south, following the signposting for Locarno and Lago Maggiore). From the north also passing the Sempione pass road, following the E62 to Domodossola, and then following the indications for Locarno and the SS337 (Valle Vigezzo). The Ticino roads are very safe and up to date.
