Culture walks - Vallemaggia

With three new trails (Brontallo and Menzonio, Linescio, Val Bavona and the Transhumance) the 'Sentieri della Pietra' ('Stone trails') are expanding. These are easy itineraries, aiming to deepen the knowledge of stone - the material symbol of the valley, as well as the richness in landscapes, culture and art of its villages. The trails are suitable for all and are accessible throughout the year.

Pre-existing itineraries include:

Moghegno and the 'grà' (old building where chestnuts were dried)
Bosco Gurin and the 'Walser'
Cevio and its river banks
