From 15-17 June Locarno will host the first international folk festival. 13 concerts or musical moments will take place in Piazza S. Antonio and in the Piazza Grande zone, as in Dimitri Theatre in Verscio. Celtic night on Friday evening with Irish and Scottish music, and Exotic night on Saturday evening with Persian and African music, represent the two strong themes of the festival. On the old continent the musical journey will take the audience from Insubria to Calabria, from Provence to the Balkans, and moving further eastward to the byways of Rom Program
