Antica Osteria Dazio

The Antica Osteria Dazio is a restaurant and hotel in Fusio, the last village of the Vallemaggia (1280 metres above sea level), in middle of a perfect Alpine scenery directing to the South. Already in the 18th century Fusio was visited and described by English, German an Italian travellers. Today the villages Fusio and Mogno are the goal also for admirers of a modern architecture which harmonizes with the scenery, with works of the famous architects Mario Botta and Gian Luigi Dazio. Fusio is the ideal place for everybody who seeks the peaceful intact nature and a perfect start and finish for many hiking tours and walks. There are several possibilities for Alpine transfers in the valleys Bedretto, Leventina, Verzasca and Bavona.
