Hi, I’m Pardy! I was born in a chestnut forest in the Ascona-Locarno region, my favourite place to go exploring. My friend the fox tells me I’m playful, creative and adventurous. I like travelling, solving riddles, exploring, painting and cooking, preferably with my friends. And I also like playing pranks: I once painted Mr Fox purple while he was asleep! I like pizza too! A lot! But I also like risotto, chestnuts roasted on the fire and ice cream.

All of them! But if I had to choose one, I would take Farina Bóna, which is only known here in the Ascona-Locarno region.
Where do you like to go on holiday?
I love exploring the Ascona-Locarno region, it's full of things to do and places to discover!
Hi Pardy! You said you like pranks: what is the most successful one?
Ha! I remember this one well. It was the time I hid the nuts to hang on the Christmas tree from Squitty and the other squirrels. They were looking for them until Christmas Eve!
Your favourite sports?
Climbing trees and treasure hunts. In the region are five: Locarno, Ascona, Tenero, Cardada (with my friend Squitty!) and one on the Brissago Islands. Discover them!
What’s your favourite colour?
All colours of nature! Bright spring, green summer, golden autumn, sparkling winter. Anything colourful!
Hey Pardy, what is it you really don’t like?
I don’t like bad food and people being mean to others. Kindness, altruism and friendship are the most important things.
What’s your favourite animal? Mine is the owl!
I have an owl friend! But I don't have a favourite animal, I like all the ones that live with me in the chestnut forest. If you like owls, though, you should pay a visit to the Locarno Falconry.

Playing hide-and-seek with the children!
