Locarno-Orselina-Minusio-Locarno

Description of the itinerary:

Once in the centre of town of Locarno, the visitor has a number of things to do like shopping or wandering through the streets of the old part of town and the Piazza Grande, or cycling up to the wonderful sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso.

The ride up to Orselina takes a scenic route which, however, does require a minimal amount of effort; it is therefore suitable for people with a certain amount of physical preparation. The descent from Orselina to Minusio passes through the typical lanes and courtyards of the town. From Minusio the Via alla Riva takes you on a traffic-free, beautiful ride along the lake back to Locarno.
