Guided excursions Valle di Lodano

Lodano

The Valle di Lodano is a very special valley. Fascinating landscapes, a unique forest reserve consisting of ancient beech forests and a remarkable diversity of animals and evidence of human activities. Its natural state makes it unique, which is why it has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2021.

You can visit Valle di Lodano and the forest reserve accompanied by trained guides who will make the excursion even more interesting by illustrating historical and natural aspects of the valley. The biodiversity is fascinating. The biodiversity is over 680 species, including 180 mushrooms, 240 plants or 45 birds like 22 mammals. Get an insight into the natural beauty, traditions and partly still living stories of this so characteristic and significant valley, which stretches from the village of Lodano to the peak of Cramalina. Immerse yourself in a world where the future is created from the past and humas become one with nature.
