The Count of Almaviva falls in love with Rosina, prisoner of her guardian, Don Bartolo, who wants to marry her. The Count succeeds in communicating his love to Rosina, but does not reveal his identity and introduces himself to her as Lindoro. Rosina matches the Count, but cannot evade Don Bartolo's surveillance. Figaro, the barber, will help the two lovers and everything will be resolved; the two young people will be able to marry and Don Bartolo will only have to accept defeat.
