After the success achieved in Lugano on 28th November 2021, the Coro Lirico di Lugano together with Coro Callìope Locarno Ascona, is back on stage, with the collaboration of Opera ViVa Orchestra and promising young singers in the solo parts. These were selected through “Sonnambula 21” audition und come from many countries. Conductor is the skilled Maestro Andrea Cupia. The full opera will be performed as it provides some of the best-known passages of music from the nineteenth century. Many of them require not only a beautiful voice but also excellent technical skills. Some beautiful shots of the wonderful watermill in Vergeletto (Onsernone/TI), edited by the skillful photograph Nicolas Joray, go along with the music, suggesting the action on stage.
An event not to be missed, not only for music-loving but also for people who are new to opera but enjoy listening to beautiful and touching music.
