Mognola Rock ClimbingPhoto: Lukino Ramelli
Suggestive alpine landscape with cliffs of excellent rock for unforgettable summer days. Overhangs, vertical walls, and slab passages offer fun for all levels. The exposure in some sectors allows climbing even during hot summer days. The rock has pink-orange shades and the color can vary depending on the time of day or lighting conditions.

The sectors are scattered along the trail that leads from Lago Mognola towards the ancient aqueduct carved into the rock.
The difficulty of the sectors ranges from 5a to 8a. The attached graphics show the difficulties present for each sector.
From Alpe Vacarisc, allow 1 hour walk to the lake. If you want to reach the rocks at the end of the Canà valley, take a more direct path passing Corte del Sasso and the aqueduct. Near the lake and in some sectors, camping with a tent is possible.
Please respect the natural environment and wildlife by taking your trash with you.
Sector A - Sassina-Lower
Small edge with routes that at the top offer a spectacular view of the lake.
Sector B - Alpine Zoo
Fantastic wall directly on the trail continuing towards the aqueduct. Physical starts on short overhangs, then technical moves on vertical rock.
Sector C - Cocktail Bar-Left
Short routes but with decidedly technical and challenging moves.
Sector C - Cocktail Bar-Center
Routes on orange-pink rock. In shadow in the morning and enchanting with the evening light of the last sun rays.
Sector C - Cocktail Bar-Right
The hardest and most demanding routes of the Cocktail Bar sector. They stay in shadow in the morning until just before noon.
Sector D - Sirens' Rock
Sector with the easiest routes in the area, located in an idyllic hollow. Ideal for families and children.
Sector E - The Triangle
Near sector D, this orange triangle offers short but intense lines on magnificent rock.
Sector F - Canà - Upper
Located at the end of the breathtaking Canà valley, these rocks cannot go unnoticed for their red color and their beautiful long lines.
Sector F - Canà - Lower
Majestic wall overlooking the bottom of the Canà valley. It features technical routes and some multi-pitch routes.
Sector G - Zion Gate
Sector that remains on the right bottom of the Canà valley. The rock is very worked and stands out for the red, orange, and black streaks.
Sector H - Nightclub
Athletic cliff with short routes and some roof overhangs. Perfect for hot days as it gets sunlight from the second half of the afternoon.
Sector I - Sassina-Upper
Small vertical wall with orange tones and technical moves on small holds. It gets sun from late afternoon.
Sector J - Waves
Two parallel walls offering easy routes on very worked rock. Perfect for those new to climbing.
