The boulder area in Brione Verzasca is a true bouldering paradise for beginners and pros. The wild nature of the Verzasca Valley and the emerald green Verzasca River create a unique ambience.

Ticino is known for its unique granite, which is particularly popular with boulderers and climbers because of its robustness and good grip. Boulderers from all over the world come to Brione Verzasca to try their hand at the massive boulders. Here, professionals as well as beginners will find over 700 bouldering routes in all difficulty levels, from 3 to 8c+. Professional boulderers come here to prepare for upcoming competitions or to try new difficult lines.

The boulder area is easily accessible on foot and there are parking possibilities and a bus stop nearby. Many of the boulders are located in the shady forest, which is especially pleasant in the summer months. Others are located directly on the emerald-green Verzasca River, ideal for refreshing yourself in the cool water after an intense day of bouldering.
