The Rifugio Alpe Masnee, owned by the Patrician of Maggia, is located in the Salto Valley, at an altitude of 2063 m/s on the ridge between Vallemaggia and Valle Verzasca. It is an open refuge and is usually not guarded. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook on both the wood and gas stove. There is the possibility of buying drinks and food.
To reach the Alp from Maggia, the path starts at the top of the village of Maggia above the majestic waterfall of Salto, next to the magnificent vineyard of Salto.

Dormitories are equipped with feather beds, light sleeping bags (cotton or silk) are obligatory.
