An energy-sapping climb, but well worth it for the unique beauty of the Lago del Narèt reservoir sitting at 2,310 m above sea level. Starting from the picturesque village of Fusio, you cycle through a fir forest with amazing views of the deep green Lago del Sambuco reservoir. There is a kiosk next to the dam wall offering refreshments. The route then continues along the reservoir through the valley of the same name. Campo la Torba is an alpine meadow in the summer months. Cheese made from the milk produced here can be bought in Fusio. The last 5 km are extremely steep. Lago del Narèt sits in a beautiful alpine landscape, perfect for those wanting to enjoy some peace and quiet immersed in nature before the return trip to Fusio.
