Welcome to “Casa del Tè” Monte Verità

The «Casa del Tè» is located on Monte Verità above Ascona, next to the small tea plantation and is entirely dedicated to the world of tea.

You can walk through the tea garden and enjoy a cup of tea in the tea room or in the garden with a nice view over the lake. We have a huge range of exquisite teas beside artistic utensils in our lovely shop.

We organize guided tours with tea degustation and tea ceremonies on request.

• Japanese tea ceremony for open groups take place every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month
  Duration 1 ½ hours  / Price CHF 45.-
   
• Guided tour with tea degustation of the 6 different processed types of tea.
  Duration: 1 ½ hours / Price: CHF 160.- (tour) + CHF 6.- p.p. for tea.
  For groups up to 12 p. For larger groups offer by arrangement
   
• Guided tour with an introduction to the Japanese tea ceremony.
  Duration: 1 ½ hours / Price: CHF 160.- (tour) + CHF 10.- p.p. for tea “Matcha”.
  For groups up to 20 p. For larger groups offer by arrangement
   
• Guided tour with private tea ceremony with our Japanese tea master.
  Duration: 1 ½ hours / Flat rate: CHF 500.- up to 10 p.,
  For each additional person CHF 45.-
  (Maximum group size 14 p.)
