Set in 1962, the film follows President Kennedy as he and his advisers plan a course of action to counter the Soviet Union's move to install nuclear weapons in Cuba. The White House could prepare military troops to be ready to invade Cuba. However, Kennedy is not convinced that this is the best solution. But then the crisis would seem to have no way out.
