Those Were The Days...
Experience Ascona as it was back in the 60s and 70s! Concerts, re-creations of local sights, traditions and much more.
This festival dedicated to the Sixties and Seventies – decades full of historical, social, cultural and political change – aims to conjure up Ascona as it was back then. For the occasion, scenes will be set up using projections and decorations that were fashionable at that time in shop windows and other venues, fashion shows and car rallies.
Business and restaurant owners will offer delicious specialities made using recipes of the time and put vintage objects on display. Dinners and dance parties (live and in nightclubs) are also on the agenda.
Ascona Yesterday will give pride of place to music, with events such as concerts, showcases, film screenings and opportunities to meet musicians, writers, journalists and producers.

Visitors will also be asked to embrace the clothes, hairstyles and make-up of the time.
