Exhibition

The exhibition is dedicated to the work of Athos Bugno and his symbolic reflection on humanity and nature.

About the works

Through his paintings, the artist explores human realities and the fragile balance between people and the natural world that hosts them. The themes are expressed symbolically and through vivid colour, without directly depicting the tragedies they evoke.

A key element of his practice is the use of primary colours, layered and only rarely mixed together. This approach creates a particular sense of depth and forms part of his personal research into colour.

In his more recent works, his investigation also moves towards a technique in which brushes play an increasingly reduced role.
