The Silent Suffering of the Large aquarium - Angela Rui.

By means of the mediation of glass walls, an aquarium enforces a material separation between the aquatic and the terrestrial world, as well as an ontological separation between humanity and what we refer to as Nature. Its transparent character, which, at the same time, connects and separates, is the modernist expression of the relationship we have established with other species. Through a series of tales, we will descend into an impossible love story which will reveal us as losers, but perhaps, also, a little more, of our animal side.
