CANCELLED - Grease the musical

A love story that is born in the "summer evenings", and then a lot of rock and roll, unforgettable songs and overwhelming choreography: these are the ingredients that have made Grease, in more than 20 years of replicas in Italy with the Compagnia della Rancia, a phenomenon that is confirmed with each replication, more than 1,800 for over 1,870,000 viewers. An overwhelming party that since 1997 ignites the Italian audiences, has kicked off the musical-mania becoming a true phenomenon of custom "pop", an intergenerational cult: GREASE the musical will be staged again in the 2019/2020 season!

In more than 20 years of amazing success in Italy, in the version of the Compagnia della Rancia directed by Saverio Marconi, GREASE has become a machine of applause, changing the way of living the experience of going to the theater.

Today it is a party to be shared with friends and families, without being able to stay still in the seats but to go wild dancing: a hymn to friendship, to the unforgettable and absolute loves of adolescence. You can see at least three generations in the audience going wild together, each in love with GREASE for a different reason:

nostalgia for the perfect world of the 1950s, memories linked to the film and the unforgettable songs, identification with a timeless love story, between unruly wisps shaped with brilliantine, leather jackets and jaunty full skirts.
GREASE, with its electrifying soundtrack from Summer Nights to You're the One That I Want and irresistible choreography, full of rhythm and energy, has made entire generations fall in love (and dance), and has been able to transform itself into a pop phenomenon, increasingly alive in our daily aesthetics, with characters that have become true generational icons: an addictive group, led by Danny Zuko, the leader of the T-Birds, in love with Sandy, the soap and water girl like Sandra Dee and Doris Day, who arrives in Rydell and, to win Danny back after a summer flirtation, transforms herself by becoming sexy and irresistible. Together with them, the explosive Kenickie, the rebellious and edgy Rizzo, the T-Birds, the Pink Ladies, the students of the most famous high school and a very special "angel".
