CHormusik! – a vocal project with Switzerland written on and in it
Capriccio vocale aims and hits the mark - with Swiss vocal music from all parts of the country, in all national languages. Delicate and powerful, old and new, sonorous, polyphonic and with bite - a musical apple shot right in the ear
On August 16th at 8:30 PM, capriccio vocale, a semi-professional vocal ensemble, will perform at the San Vittore Church in Muralto.
The program features exclusively Swiss choral works, from the Renaissance to the present day and in all national languages. A world premiere will also be heard. "Sabbia," a piece by Ticinese composer Maria Bonzanigo, with lyrics by Hugo Gargiulo, will be performed for the first time in its mixed-voice version. The project choir capriccio vocale consists of singers from German-speaking and southern Switzerland and will repeat the concert program the following day in Andermatt, after its premiere in Muralto.
