Foundation Majidis pleased to present the exhibition project of the Ticinese painter Dario Bianchi.

Following his outstanding academic journey, he enrolled at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan in 1977, earning his diploma in 1981. Upon returning to Ticino after completing his studies in painting, he was appointed as a lecturer in visual arts education. Initially at the two-year Magistrale programme, later at the Higher Pedagogical School, and currently at the Department of Education and Learning of SUPSI (University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland).

His daily work as a teacher trainer across various school levels has profoundly shaped his overall approach as both a painter and educator. Despite his commitment to teaching, he consistently dedicates himself to the essential and vital practice of painting and drawing. While his didactic efforts and methodologies aim to cultivate students' sensitivity towards aesthetics and art, they do not directly feed into his personal creative research. However, rather than influencing the formal outcomes of his work, they inform the underlying choices and reflections that shape them.

He has also taught art history at UNI3 (University of the Third Age) and is actively engaged as a lecturer in the field.
