Excursion to Bosco di Maia (Arcegno)

Arcegno

17.05.2026

Once a month, from March to October, we have the pleasure of organising these excursions, each one different from the last.
The aim is to benefit from the regenerating and therapeutic power of the woods and nature.

The Bosco di Maia Forest Reserve is located in the hills between Losone and Arcegno. In a landscape shaped by glaciers, an extraordinary mosaic of micro-environments is home to an extremely rich and diverse flora and fauna.

Barbara (our Bagni di Bosco and Forest Therapy guide) will invite us at certain points to walk in silence, to carve out moments of contemplation, to allow space for the natural process of relaxation that arises in us through the correct stimulation of our senses.
The presence of Patrick (conservation biologist and environmental guide) will allow us to enrich our walk with some naturalistic knowledge.
Everything is conducted in a very peaceful manner, with no competition or expectations other than spending some regenerating time together, the benefits of which will last throughout the month.

All the walks on offer are suitable for anyone in good health.
The average duration of the walks is between 2 and 3 hours.
