Fabio Concato one of the few Italian singers who is closely familiar with jazz, due to its characteristic musical harmony, will offer a concert based on music and words, between the serious and the facetious, a long journey from 1977 (year of his debut record) to date.
It will be an opportunity to listen not only to the great “hits, but also many other songs from his rich repertoire who is now 40 years old, but doesn't look it at all! From those Stories of Always (1977, in fact) the public immediately understood that they were dealing with an elegant author, capable of great self-irony, always attentive to environmental, social and civil issues: his songs entered the history of Italian music and they have accompanied us so far, without showing the signs of aging, rather crystallizing emotions and verses that have entered the collective imagination.
"Beastly Sunday, whose fortieth anniversary occurs, Fiore di Maggio, Guido piano, Rosalina", "Sexi tango", "O Bella blonde", up to the singles of the last album, Stazione nord, Non smetto di presarti these are some of the songs from the concert (in which there will be other welcome surprises) re-proposed with new arrangements and choices according to the artist's favorite themes.
A beautiful journey to the center of the heart and brain.
The repertoire is revived with great energy and complicity, together with the same musicians who contributed to the making of the album itself: Ornella D Urbano (arrangements, piano and keyboards), Stefano Casali (bass), Larry Tomassini (guitars) and Gabriele Palazzi ( drums).
