Festa Patronale di S. Maria Nascente

The village of Caviano dresses up to honor the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, patroness of the last village of Gambarogno.

In fact, the patronal feast will take place on Sunday 10 September, with the following programme:

07:30 boiler ignition;

9:30 first solemn concert of the bells;

10:00 second solemn concert of the bells;

10:30 am Solemn Mass in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, followed by the procession through the streets of the town with the statue of the Madonna accompanied by the Unione Filarmonica Gambarognese;

11:45 opening buvette and aperitif enlivened by the philharmonic;

12:15 lunch in the churchyard with polenta, stew, gorgonzola and milk.

During the party there will be a dessert counter, games and music with Ivo Maggetti.
