JazzAscona climbs aboard the historic train for a full-sounding edition

Thanks to the collaboration with JazzAscona, the journey through time on board the historic train will bring new intense emotions. The adventure will begin in Muralto with a jazzy wait on the notes of FROG & HENRY, which will also accompany you on the journey from Locarno to Camedo.

As you board the historic train, you will find yourself catapulted into an atmosphere of yesteryear, made even more atmospheric by the musical genius of the travelling artists. The train will run between Locarno and Camedo, with a stop for music in Intragna, at a maximum speed of 40 km per hour, offering passengers a breathtaking view of the magnificent Centovalli landscape.

Once in Camedo, the show with FROG & HENRY will continue in the Antico Deposito dei Treni. The band is part of the Acoustic Town project, a festival initiative that aims to present Ascona with street music as it is played on the streets of New Orleans.

From hearing to taste....Soundtracks will also delight you from a gastronomic point of view, thanks to a tasty aperitif that will also bring with it the culinary traditions of New Orleans by offering the typical Jambalaya.

You just have to get on board to experience the unique atmosphere of the first edition of Soundtracks.

Adults: CHF 38
Children 6-16 years and under: 14 francs
Children 0-6 years of age: free if they do not occupy a seat

The price includes the round trip on the historic train and an aperitif (including drinks). It is not possible to travel on the historic train with other tickets. No reduction for AG, half-price and Ticino Ticket.

The historic train will consist of the ABDe 6/6 electric train from 1963 and an AB4 wagon from 1923.
