An elderly worker lives with his memories, which appear to him like the ghosts of his old colleagues from the Cerutti factory.
His nephew, a graduate but forced to work as a "rider" to make ends meet, is worried about him. The two argue: it's a difficult dialogue between two distant generations, at the end of an era.
