L’immagine e la parola will be focusing on The Images of History, on a weekend packed with guests, screenings, and meetings. Romanian director Radu Jude, recent winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlinale, will be in Locarno to open a conversation with theorists, critics, cultural workers, and young filmmakers on the importance of rereading our past in the light of new traces. Joining him, among others, eminent historian Carlo Ginzburg, founder of microhistory.
