META-MORFICA

With her META-MORPHICA exhibition, Daniela Rebuzzi introduces us to a world represented by multiple forms but by a single spirit, her own. ‘Metamorphosis’ is a term composed of ‘Meta’ (beyond, change) and Morphe (form). The process by which a living being or thing undergoes a substantial change in structure or appearance becomes, for Rebuzzi, both the medium and the goal of her art. By shaping matter, Daniela also shapes the minds of those who observe her works. The physical law of conservation of mass states that: ‘Nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything is transformed’ thus, matter touched by the artist changes into energy and becomes art.
