Meeting with Paolo Giordano

FestivaLLibro, now in its seventh edition and dedicated this year to the theme of ‘Women’, will kick off on 24 January with an unmissable event: a meeting with internationally renowned writer Paolo Giordano, who will be in conversation with the Festival's Artistic Director, Renato Martinoni.

Giordano, winner of the Strega Prize in 2008 with his debut novel ‘The Solitude of Prime Numbers’, has won over readers of all ages with his incisive prose and reflections on profound and topical themes, exploring human interiority and the complexity of relationships. The film of the same name, based on his book, has also captivated an entire generation of viewers, finding an audience in Ticino that is passionate about his work and will be able to get even closer to him at the event in Muralto, asking the writer their own questions.

The event – a unique opportunity to hear Giordano discuss his creative process live – will take place at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Muralto at 6.15 p.m. and will be followed by the chance to ask for his books to be signed, which will be on sale at the venue. This will be followed by a screening of the film “The Solitude of Prime Numbers”.
