Musical Spring 2024

Silarte Association presents the Musical Spring 2024:
Great quality and great musical variety also characterize Primavera Musicale this year, which will take place over three evenings, always on Saturdays, 27 April, 4 May and 18 May, with free entry. This is only possible thanks to the support of regional bodies and sponsors, to whom we extend our thanks.
With the first concert, ancient and modern composers dialogue, in a fascinating journey, hence the title I Colori del Mediterraneo. There will be two concerts by Antonio Vivaldi for solo cello, with the cellist Nicola Tallone, and the Lugano Chamber Orchestra conducted by M. Stefano Bazzi who will also lead us in the Polychromies of the Swiss composer Carlo Florindo Semini and in the Five Greek Dances by Nikos Skalkottas.
For the second concert the virtuosos Anton Jablokov, on the violin, and Adam Kuruc, on the piano, will range between jazz, gypsy, folk and soundtracks.
In closing, the duo Cégiu (cello) and Caroline Tallone (electric hurdy-gurdy) who through the genre of free improvisation of SOUNDS and NOISES will surprise us with their vision of music, without barriers.
