At the foot of the ERL Tower, the only visible part of Losone's underground thermal power plant, a stage for two free concerts will be set up. While the boiler fires will be working under the asphalt, the Genesis tribute band, Real Dream, and the prog metal band Virtual Symmetry will perform open air.
Real Dream is one of the most famous European tribute bands of Genesis, especially but not only of early period music, from 1970 to 1977. Genesis were the leading exponents of British progressive rock with 100-150 million albums sold and a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
In Losone the band will present the new event "Selling England by the Dream" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the album "Selling England by the pound" by Genesis, which will be performed entirely live, as well as other historical songs from the group's repertoire.
The band Virtual Symmetry is a revelation in the progressive metal scene, which manages to amaze with influences ranging from classical music to contemporary metal and a style rich in cinematic elements. Every show is, in fact, an immersive experience with light games, on-screen animation and interaction with the audience.
During the concerts there will be a bar and it will be possible to taste panzerotti, Lecce's rustici and sweet pasticciotti.
The two concerts are offered free by the Municipality of Losone and ERL (Energie Rinnovabili Losone), the company that manages the thermal power plant in Losone.
