Run in Fly

Hike and Fly event in the Locarno region. Competition participants will set off from Lido di Locarno early in the morning for their first climb to the Gambarogno hut. This will be followed by an initial flight landing at Lido di Locarno. The second climb will be to Alpe di Naccio, above Brissago. The second flight will again be towards the Lido in Locarno. Finally, a third ascent will take participants to Cimetta. The last flight will end on a small platform on the lake.

Spectators will be able to see the pilots along the route or during the landings at Lido Locarno. There will be more than 400 landings during the day and several air shows are planned. A number of activities for children will also be organized on site throughout the day

Spectators will be able to watch the first landings at 10:00 AM. The competition will officially end at 6:00 PM.
