La Dolce Vita: from Nino Rota to Hans Zimmer is a show that celebrates dance, music, and cinema, paying tribute to the soundtracks that have contributed to the success of great films: from La Dolce Vita and Amarcord by Nino Rota, to Morricone’s Once Upon a Time in the West and Cinema Paradiso, to Piovani with Life is Beautiful, and contemporary works by Dario Marianelli (Anna Karenina), Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream), Elliott Goldenthal (Frida), and Hans Zimmer (The Da Vinci Code). Stunning choreographies inspired by these cinematic masterpieces bring dreams to the festival audience each year.
