Open House Ticino

Open House Ticino is a weekend of "open architecture," an invitation to (re)discover and experience firsthand this extraordinary shared heritage, in response to the growing demand for exploration of architecture and the land we live in.

For its first edition, the doors of around fifty buildings across the Canton – particularly in the five main urban centers of Bellinzona, Chiasso, Locarno, Lugano, and Mendrisio – will open free of charge to the public.

The program includes historic palaces, modern and contemporary architecture, private apartments, offices, engineering works, green and social spaces, many of which are normally not accessible in everyday life.

The selection aims to highlight and promote the architecture of Canton Ticino, which fascinates both for its important modern heritage and for its more recent achievements.
