In the world of the Guriner, with snowshoes on your feet, you can spend unforgettable moments discovering the nature and Walser culture. Let yourself be amazed by the hospitality of Bosco Gurin, the highest village in Ticino located at the top of the Vallemaggia.
Bosco Gurin in winter is synonymous with snow sports. Leave the car and set off with snowshoes to discover an alpine territory shaped over centuries by the Walser people.
Climbing among majestic larches, you will discover the typical “Gadumschi” and other characteristic buildings that escape the fleeting glance of skiers rushing down the snowy slope.
A postcard landscape framed by high peaks and the good sunshine enjoyed by the wide basin of Bosco Gurin will accompany you along the ascent. Arriving at Grossalp, a small settlement hosting the homonymous hut that welcomes and delights mountain lovers, you can decide whether to continue to the intermediate chairlift station or retrace your steps.
