Take the Centovally Railway (Locarno-Domodossola) or the car to Verdasio and then the cable car up to Monte Comino, from where the actual tour starts. Monte Comino is a very lively mountain; in addition to the guesthouse Alla Capanna there are also llamas here, with which you can go on guided llama treks. The first stage leads to the Madonna della Segna Oratory, a small church dating back to 1450-1500. If you continue walking, you reach the Pian Segna peat pit, a wet zone surrounded by forest. The red and white path leads through the beech forest at roughly the same altitude to Alp In di Mètri. A large bend and then you cross the Riale di Mulitt stream and take the beautiful panoramic path with gentle ups and downs back to Monte Comino. From here the cable car to Verdasio (station) and the Centovalli Railway leave again.
