The Bolle di Magadino, a nature reserve of international importance, is an exciting floodplain landscape and one of the last natural river deltas in Switzerland. To explore it and learn more, information boards are placed along the marked paths. A simple walk that has its charm in every season and presents itself from a different interesting perspective. In winter it is a rather sparse place, which makes it very mystical. With some luck, you can observe wild animals here during the winter months. It is recommended to visit the Bolle di Magadino in the afternoon, as they lie in the shade in the morning hours.
Magadino is accessible by boat from Locarno. From there it is a walk to the Bolle, where the various walks are shown on a board.
