The mountain hike leads around the forest reserve to the upper pasture areas of the Alps of Valle di Lodano. You gradually ascend to Alp di Pii, following the transhumance route that herders and cattle also used from the village over the Maiensässes to the alp huts. The path continues with moderate elevation changes around the valley over the Alps Nagairón, Canaa, Cófna, and Tramón. Along the way, viewpoints are reached again and again, from where you can enjoy an excellent view of the Vallemaggia and the forest reserve. The descent then leads back down to Lodano on the slope opposite the ascent side.
