The Capanna Gambarögn is located on Monte Gambarogno. From the summit you have a beautiful 360° view over the Alps and the plains of Locarno.
Hidden among the peaks of the Swiss Pre-Alps, the Gambarögn Hut is a symbol of resilience. Originally built as a military hut in the early 1900s, it has become a refuge open to the public. Mount Gambarögn offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama from Bellinzona to Lake Maggiore. The hut is a 45-minute walk from Alpe di Neggia, making it an excellent starting point for exploring the region. Most of the products used in the hut come from local suppliers, creating traditional Ticino cuisine.
