Located in the magnificent plateau on the southwest side of Pizzo Basodino, in a lateral valley of Valle Bavona, the Valle d'Antabia.

The Hut consists of 2 independent buildings converted from 4 farmhouses. Surrounded to the west by a natural chain of peaks between Canton Ticino and Valle Formazza. There are various hiking possibilities and access to the Via Alta Vallemaggia. Nearby Lakes d'Antabia and Lakes della Crosa. Facilities include duvets (mandatory use of a sleeping bag), outdoor toilets with a shower, cooking facilities, and beverages even in the absence of the guardian.
