The hut is designed for emergency situations, offering shelter to those who find themselves in difficulty due to bad weather or fatigue while hiking, especially in the direction of huts such as Capanna Cristallina, Capanna Poncione di Braga, or Capanna Basodino.
The hut is operational during the summer season, from mid-June to the beginning of October. However, it should be noted that the hut has no beds or mattresses, offering limited space for up to four people. Reservations are not possible, and access is managed according to availability.
Water supply is not guaranteed and depends on the local water source. In addition, the hut is equipped with a small wood burning cooker, with the possibility of using locally available wood.
