Ascona-Golino-Arcegno-Ascona

Starting from the lakeside in Ascona, you pass through the town and, along the golf course, continue along the Maggia river. The route follows the river to Losone, where for a stretch it moves away from the watercourse. In summer it is a very popular location among swimmers and children can have fun in the playground or sports fields. Up to Golino, the route continues on a dirt road and the landscape constantly changes, passing from the river to the forest and skirting a riding stable, a golf course and a campsite. Upon reaching Golino, the climb begins towards Arcegno, a charming village above Ascona immersed in nature. Crossing a beautiful landscape, the route continues towards Gruppaldo and, above the lake, back to Ascona.
