Bassa di Cardada Trail combines flow, technical challenges and pure trail fun in one of the most panoramic settings of the Ascona-Locarno region. Following the natural contours of the mountainside, the trail blends berms, technical sections and multiple line options into an engaging descent.

A succession of corners, berms and changing trail character keeps the ride flowing from start to finish. Optional features such as side hits and small jumps add an extra dose of fun without compromising the main line.

The natural surface of hard-packed dirt, roots and rocks delivers an authentic riding experience and rewards precise line choice. Winding through woodland, rocky outcrops and spectacular viewpoints overlooking Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains, Bassa di Cardada Trail is an excellent choice for riders seeking a technical yet flowing descent in a breathtaking alpine setting.

Difficulty: Intermediate (red) mountain bike trail with technical sections, signposted as a one-way trail and designed exclusively for mountain bikes. Technical trails (tech trails) are narrow trails featuring elements that increase their difficulty, such as roots or rocks, where technical skill plays a central role. The signs feature a vertical zigzag line.
