Explanation
Centovalli (the valley of a hundred valleys) runs from Intragna to Camedo, the last settlement before the Italian border. Almost 20 km long, this route is flanked by steep rock faces, taking in several bridges and deep gorges along the way. The valley amazes its visitors with its mystical charm and its many stories. There are some restaurants en route. On reaching Camedo, you follow the same route back to Intragna, where you can visit the highest church tower in the canton of Ticino (65 m), as well as the Centovalli and Pedemonte regional museum. The road is particularly busy during the rush hour (early morning and early evening). We therefore recommend you only do this tour outside of these times.
