Gambarogno is especially popular in summer thanks to its beaches, lidos and magnificent views. The sun seems to be forever shining, its rays warming the surrounding green hills. With 13 km of pure ascent, this tour is popular with road cyclists. The road from Vira to Alpe di Neggia passes through some beautiful villages and then wonderful scenery, always with Lake Maggiore below you. The lush vegetation changes as you climb higher. A breath-taking mountain view appears as you leave the forest, just before you reach the top. Follow the same route to return to Vira.
