The Placche di Torbeccio sector is south-east facing, meaning climbers can enjoy the sun for most of the day. For this reason, it’s recommended to climb here from October-May, and less so in summer.

There are routes with difficulty levels ranging from 3a to 7a.

A little further up you can find the Viso di Luna sector, perfect for climbers looking to put their skills to the test on some more demanding routes. Here the difficulties range from 6a+ to 7b+.

Both sectors are easily accessible by foot in around 20 minutes from the Avegno, Grotti bus stop – simply follow the hiking trail.
