Ponte Brolla is definitely the most famous and well-known climbing area in Ticino. Its accessible location, south-facing gneiss walls, and wide range of routes, from easier to more challenging grades, make it the ideal destination for climbing enthusiasts.
The Rovine del Castelliere sector features numerous cliffs with routes of varying difficulty, from grades 3a to 7a+. It is suitable for beginners and families.
More demanding climbers can try the East Sector, where they will find routes between grades 5a and 8c.
The sector is ideal for climbing in autumn, winter, and spring.
