The nearly 2,200 m drop between the Gries reservoir at an elevation of 2,386 m above sea level and Lake Maggiore at 193 m above sea level is the highest jump used by a number of large storage facilities

  • Information and reservations: The available time slots are from 08:30 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 16:00, while on Fridays, tours are only possible until 12:00. In principle, tours are free of charge if conducted during working hours.
