Ponte Romano, Intragna

Intragna

Just beyond the village of Intragna stands the Ponte Romano, built in 1578. It is the oldest existing bridge of its kind in the region and under it flows the river Melezza. This bridge has become a major attraction for the region, especially because of its passageway position, providing access to many hiking trails, e.g. Intragna – Rasa, from where you can discover the valley.
